Barcelona players demand clarity from Joan Laporta on Dani Olmo

Barcelona are currently facing a huge task in securing the future of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor and this situation has left the players uncertain about their futures.
According to latest report from SPORT, confusion in the Barcelona camp have reached a boiling point, prompting direct intervention from both Hansi Flick and Joan Laporta.
The report claimed the issue began with the revelation that neither Olmo nor Victor would be able to join the team for their Copa del Rey debut due to a lack of registration.
This development stirred unrest among the players, evident from their reactions following the match in Barbastro.
Recognising the unease within the squad, Laporta reportedly asked head coach Hansi Flick to address the team and provide clarity on the matter before their trip.

Flick took up the challenge, called for a meeting with the players, hoping to clarify the reasons behind the administrative hurdles preventing the registration of Olmo and Victor.
However, the response from the players was far from positive. Reports claimed many within the squad felt that this was an issue that fell squarely under the club’s management rather than the coaching staff.
The dissatisfaction was evident, leaving Flick unsettled by the players’ reactions. Flick urged Laporta to address the players directly and provide further explanation.
Laporta met with the players at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. During this urgent meeting, he offered reassurances and laid out the club’s legal strategy to resolve the registration issues.
This gesture from Laporta appeared to ease tensions, as both Olmo and Victor were said to appreciate the president’s efforts.
