Barcelona Secure Raphinha Contract Extension
Barcelona forward Raphinha has reportedly signed a new contract that will see him play for the Spanish side until the summer of 2030.
Raphinha has grown to become one of the most important players in Hansi Flick’s team. His goalscoring ability and decision-making have improved since the German tactician took charge.
The 29-year-old was instrumental as Barcelona won the last two LaLiga titles and has had an incredible start to the 2026-27 campaign, scoring 14 goals and registering three assists in eight appearances in all competitions.
With speculation still linking him with clubs across Europe and the Saudi Pro League, Barcelona have decided to tie him down to a new deal.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona have been able to sign the Brazil international to a new contract until 2030.

”New deal done and sealed. Official announcement and ceremony can take place this week; on Friday, if all goes to plan with documents.”
Raphinha made the move to Barcelona from Leeds United in the summer of 2022.
Despite failing to impress in his first few months at the club, the attacker has gone on to become an important part of the squad.
Raphinha has scored 89 goals and registered 62 assists in 185 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions, including 21 goals and 18 assists in 34 Champions League games.
Following Raphinha’s bumper contract extension, Barcelona have reportedly identified Gerard Martin and Brian Farinas as the next rising stars to be rewarded.
Barca have also finalised a new contract for Hamza Abdelkarim, while negotiations with highly rated La Masia graduates Xavi Espart and Marc Bernal are reportedly progressing well.
