Benjamin Sesko injury timeline revealed as Amorim endures new setback
Benjamin Sesko latest injury will see the Manchester United forward miss a month of football in what will be a huge blow for Ruben Amorim.
Sesko was confirmed to have suffered a knee injury during Man Utd’s 2-2 draw against Tottenham and subsequently did not report for international duty with Slovenia.
Though the precise length of the striker’s absence is still to be determined, fresh reports claim he will be out of action for around a month.
Ruben Amorim is expected to provide an update on Sesko in the pre-Everton press conference later this week, though he did fear the worst immediately after the Spurs draw.

“[Sesko’s form] is not the biggest concern now. I’m concerned with an injury, because it is in the knee, and I don’t know.
“We need Ben [Sesko] to be a better team. We have to check. He has something in his knee. Let’s see.”
United are out of the Carabao Cup and are also not playing in Europe this season, a move that gives Sesko enough time to heal.
Sesko is set to sit out the Everton game at Old Trafford next Monday when Man United return to Premier League action after the international break.
If confirmed he’ll be out for a month, the 22-year-old should be available again before Christmas, but is likely to miss a further three games – against Crystal Palace, West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The home game against Bournemouth on December 15 may be too early for a return as the trip to Aston Villa six days later or the Boxing Day showdown with Newcastle could be viewed as more realistic provided his recovery goes to plan.
Amorim will be hoping Sesko will be back to full fitness by December as the Reds will lose Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo, both players are expected to depart for Africa Cup of Nations duty with Cameroon and Ivory Coast respectively.
