Brighton target former Man Utd manager after confirming Roberto De Zerbi exit
Premier League side, Brighton and Hove are considering Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna as their new manager after agreeing to part ways with Roberto De Zerbi.
Brighton announced on Saturday that Roberto De Zerbi will leave the club following their final match of the season on Sunday.
De Zerbi and Brighton mutually agreed to move in separate directions after months of uncertainty over his future, leaving the Premier League club in need of a replacement head coach before the new season.
Undoubtedly one of the best managers in world football, De Zerbi has caught the attention of top clubs in Europe. He has been linked with a summer move to Bayern Munich as well as Barcelona.
Likewise in the Premier League, De Zerbi has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United where there remains uncertainty over their managerial positions.
Reports have now claimed Brighton are setting their sight on McKenna, who has led Ipswich to back-to-back promotions and is regarded as one of the brightest young managers in the European game.

However, they will be facing stiff competition from Manchester United who are also willing to sign the 38-year-old’s manager.
Michael Carrick is another manager who has impressed Brighton but the former Manchester United midfielder is expected to sign a new deal at Middlesbrough.
