Casemiro reportedly in talks with Inter Miami over free transfer
Casemiro is set to leave Manchester United at the end of this season and has been linked with different clubs across the globe.
With the Brazilian midfielder yet to make a decision on his next destination, new report have claim MLS Cup champions Inter Miami are interested in bringing the former Real Madrid star to the United States.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Casemiro is in discussions to sign for the MLS stalwarts – but no deal is imminent.
Casemiro has multiple offers from around the world, including well-documented Saudi Pro League interest. But, Romano claim a signature for Miami seems far more likely at this point.
It’s still unsure how Inter Miami will get the deal over the line, as any deal for Casemiro would be complicated by MLS’s salary rules.
Inter Miami currently have three designated players on their roster and would be unable to spend big on a fourth. That would mean Casemiro taking a significant pay cut to pen a deal with the MLS side.
Casemiro has impressed during United’s last few games, a move that have seen some fans call for a new contract extension. However, he has remained committed to leaving the club.
