Chelsea confirms departure of five coaching staff following 2023/24 season
Chelsea have confirmed the departure of five members of the women’s team coaching staff following the departure of Emma Hayes.
Emma Hayes left her role as Chelsea women’s team manager at the end of 2023/24 season as she’s set to start a new adventure with the United States female national team.
Hayes will now be joined by Denise Reddy, Stuart Searle, Bart Caubergh, Ferdia O’Hanrahan and Cameron Meighan.
Chelsea defeated Manchester United to retain the Women’s Super League title as Hayes recorded her name as one of the greatest female managers in history.
Emma Hayes during her spell as Chelsea manager won seven league titles, five FA Cups, two League Cups and a Community Shield.
Reflecting on her time at Chelsea, Hayes told BBC Sport: “I don’t think I have the words really. I am full with a ton of different emotions.
“Knowing it is the end and I won’t be with this team or these fans again… but they’re always in my heart.
“I am ready, I have given everything I’ve got. [I am] ready for my next adventure.”
