€150m Offer! Florentino Perez promises Real Madrid a new Galáctico
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has promised that the Spanish giants will make the biggest offer in the club’s history for a so-called “Galáctico”.
However, the player would not be from the Premier League.
Real Madrid’s presidential election will hold this weekend, and the candidates involved have been sharing their plans.
Perez will go face to face with challenger Enrique Riquelme.
Earlier this week, Riquelme guaranteed the signing of Manchester City forward Erling Haaland if he won the vote ahead of Perez. In fact, he held up a Los Blancos shirt with ‘Haaland 9’ on the back.
Meanwhile, Perez has revealed that Jose Mourinho will be appointed as manager if he retains his post.

While fans are yet to get over that statement, Perez, in his latest speech has confirmed that Madrid will make a record-breaking bid for a young player.
“On Tuesday, I’m going to make an offer to an important, Champions League club, for a great player,” he said. “It would be the most money that Real Madrid have paid for a player in history. At least €150 million.”
Perez ruled out a number of names, including Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku and Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise.
“It isn’t [Michael] Olise, he’s a great player, but it isn’t Olise,” he said.
“It isn’t [Jeremy] Doku, it isn’t Haaland. It isn’t [Harry] Kane. It’s a player who plays from the midfield, or further forwards. And he isn’t a Premier League player. He’s a total Galáctico. But first we’ll talk to his club.”
According to a report from Marca, Perez’s statement points to two Paris Saint-Germain players – Vitinha or Joao Neves.
Vitinha and Joao Neves are undoubtedly one of the best midfield duo in world football, having led PSG to a consecutive Champions League triumph.
