Failed Chelsea coach in line to replace Julen Lopetegui at West Ham United

Former Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui is currently feeling the heat at West Ham United and might be sacked this weekend.
Brought in to replace David Moyes during the summer, the former Real Madrid manager has received criticism by some factions of the West Ham fanbase due to his style of play.
With West Ham currently 14th in the Premier League table with three wins from 10 and out of the Carabao Cup, there are clear indication Lopetegui will be allowed to leave.
According to the Guardian, West Ham will review Lopetegui’s position if they lose at home to Everton on Saturday.
The club’s board hope that their manager will turn their situation around, but another defeat is likely to be it for the Spanish coach.
Should in case West Ham failed to get a positive result, the London outfit could move for former Chelsea boss Graham Potter during the international break.
Potter has been out of work since leaving Stamford Bridge in April 2023 and West Ham may be the challenge he is looking for. The 49-year-old was exceptional during his time as Brighton manager but failed to keep up at Chelsea.
It’s up to Lopetegui to turn things around or he’ll be shown the exit door and Potter who failed at Stamford Bridge will take over the reign.
