Jurgen Klopp’s agent responds to Real Madrid, Brazil rumours

Jurgen Klopp will not be leaving his role with Red Bull to become the new Real Madrid or Brazil national team manager, the Germany tactician’s agent has confirmed.
Reports in Brazil recently claimed that Klopp had grown tired of his current position – Red Bull’s head of global soccer – and was open to a return to management with either the Brazilian national team or Madrid.
The speculation gained massive reactions from football fans soon after when it emerged Madrid are preparing to bid farewell to their current boss, Carlo Ancelotti, in the aftermath of their Champions League elimination at the hands of Arsenal, while Klopp was specifically named as a potential target by reports elsewhere.
However, Klopp’s agent, Marc Kosicke during an interview with Sky Sports Germany poured cold water on the situation.
“Jurgen is very happy with his new role as head of global soccer at Red Bull,” Kosicke stressed.
It is claimed that Klopp has received several offers to return to management next season but the Liverpool boss is not interested in taking up a new role in the dugout next year, even with Madrid or Brazil.
With the possibility of Klopp joining Real Madrid fading away, the Spanish giant are believed to have their focus elsewhere.
Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso was identified as their dream heir to Ancelotti’s throne last season and officials are ready to ramp up a reunion with their former midfielder in the coming weeks.
The hope is that Alonso will be in the dugout by the start of the Club World Cup this summer, but an agreement will have to be struck with Leverkusen as Alonso has a contract until 2026.
