Man United makes final decision on Erik ten Hag’s future after season review

Manchester United have decided that Erik ten Hag will remain as the club manager after a review of their performance during the 2023/24 season.
Erik ten Hag has been linked with a move out of Old Trafford after United finished the Premier League season ranked eight. However, the Red Devils won the FA Cup title beating Manchester City.
Though it has been rumoured that the victory at Wembley Stadium will play no role in United’s decision of Erik ten Hag’s future, the club board have decided it does..
United deserved 2-1 victory over Man City allowed the club hierarchy to approach the review in a more positive light.
It is understood what are being described as “constructive conversations” with Ten Hag have taken place around the outcome of the review.
All eventualities were considered and the clear preference was for the 54-year-old Dutchman to remain in charge.
Erik ten Hag will now be eager to prove himself in his third season as United coach by winning the Premier League title that has eluded them since the departure of Alex Ferguson.
United are prepared to support Erik ten Hag in this summer transfer window with the club set to bring in a new defender, a forward and probably another midfielder.
Some players are also linked with a move away from Old Trafford as a new era is set to begin under Erik ten Hag.
