Real Madrid have made contact with the representatives of Arsenal defender William Saliba ahead of a potential transfer next summer, this according to a latest report in France.
Saliba has grown to become one of the best centre-back in the world since returning from his loan spell at Marseille in 2022. His partnership with Gabriel is regarded as one of the best in the world of football and both players are not slowing down on their laurels.
The Frenchman has now been linked with a move to Real Madrid and the Spanish side have reached out to Saliba’s representative, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Real Madrid are currently going through defensive crisis with their center-backs except Antonio Rudiger failing to stay fit. Much to the frustration of Carlo Ancelotti, the reigning European champions are not expected to make any defensive reinforcements in January.
However, a potential move for Saliba is something Madrid want to discuss further in the summer.
it would take a hefty transfer fee to prise Saliba away from Arsenal, who have tied the 23-year-old down to a contract which extends until 2027.
Madrid are also monitoring RB Leipzig’s young centre-back Castello Lukeba, who would cost considerably less than his French compatriot, but doesn’t boast the same guarantee of quality.
