Ruben Amorim smashes TV as United boss rages at flops in dressing room rant

Manchester United are currently going through a difficult spell under new manager Ruben Amorim with the Red Devils currently placed 13th on the table.

Things went from bad to worse for United as they lost 3-1 at home to Brighton and Hove. The loss was United’s sixth loss in 12 home Premier League games with their dismal run continuing under Amorim’s leadership.

Since taking over in November, United have lost six Premier League games in eleven matches, a move that has put a question mark on Amorim’s ability as a manager.

Latest report have now claimed Amorim smashed a TV while in rage following his side’s dismal 3-1 defeat to Brighton.

It’s claimed that the TV used for tactics before kick-off will need to be fixed and repairs will be done before United’s Europa League clash against Rangers at Old Trafford on Thursday night.

Amorim lashed out during a review of his squad’s poor showing, using “strong language” to address his players and damaging the flatscreen TV in the process. And he didn’t hold back in his post-match media briefing, slamming his players as ‘maybe the worst team in United’s history.’

According to The Athletic, it was a sharp departure for Amorim who is known for keeping silent until the day after a match.

It’s left to see if United will come to the party when they take on Rangers in their Europa League clash at Old Trafford.
