Jorge Mendes reveals Vitinha, Joao Neves transfer stance amid Real Madrid link
Paris Saint-Germain duo Vitinha and Joao Neves have been linked with a surprise move to Real Madrid this summer, with the Spanish side eager to build a strong team.
Having failed to win a trophy in the last two season, Madrid are eager to strengthen their squad. Manchester City midfielder Rodri has been linked with the Spanish side, while a bid for Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez was rejected.
With Vitinha and Joao Neves now reportedly Real Madrid’s target, super agent Jorge Mendes has stepped in to clarify where his clients will be playing their football next season.
Speaking to Fabrizio Romano, Mendes made it clear that PSG have no intention of entertaining offers for their midfield linchpins.

“Vitinha and Joao were never an option for anyone. They are non-negotiable for Paris Saint-Germain and they are very, very happy in PSG – they will continue collecting trophies,” Mendes told Romano.
PSG’s hierarchy views both players as “untouchable”. The French side leadership has reportedly informed suitors that even record-breaking sums would not be enough to tempt them into selling the Portuguese internationals this year.
Vitinha and Neves have become integral to PSG’s style of play under Luis Enrique.
While Neves ability cannot be underestimated, Vitinha, has developed into one of the most consistent performers in Europe, racking up 50 appearances across all competitions last term, including 17 in the Champions League where he netted six times.
Both players are expected to play major roles for Portugal as they prepare for the upcoming World Cup, with expectations high for Roberto Martinez’s squad.
