Liverpool make fresh Bradley Barcola transfer attempt

Liverpool have made a fresh attempt to sign Bradley Barcola this summer, with the Paris Saint-Germain winger open to leaving for a new challenge.

Barcola, 23, impressed last season as PSG dominated Europe by winning their second UEFA Champions League title. He has continue his impressive form with the France national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Liverpool are now eager to bring him to England as they continue their search for Mohamed Salah replacement.

The Reds have already secure the signature of Victor Munoz in a £34million deal, and made a staggering £86m bid for fellow winger Yan Diomande which was swiftly rejected by RB Leipzig.

But Barcola is also on their shopping list.

The France international, who scored in his country’s World Cup opener last week is said to be tempted by a move to Anfield, as he’s impressed with Liverpool’s project.

Barcola is also excited about the idea of playing in the Premier League.

PSG will not stand in his way if he decides to leave as report claim the European champions have identified a number of potential replacements.

Aside Liverpool, Premier League champion Arsenal have also been linked with Barcola, who joined PSG from Lyon three years ago in a deal worth up to £43m.

Barcola has been tight-lipped on his future, but PSG manager Luis Enrique has made it clear that he wants to keep him. “I have no doubt he’ll remain our player,” the PSG manager said last season.

“We like the fact that our players are interesting to other clubs. But he’s one of those young players we’ve been banking on. I expect him to play here for many more years.”

Barcola has scored 39 goals and provided 35 assists in 152 games for PSG. It’s now left to be seen if he’ll be playing elsewhere next season.
