Newcastle set sight on Benjamin Sesko after Alexander Isak exit bombshell
Newcastle United are prepared to move on from Alexander Isak – who wants to leave the club – with Benjamin Sesko identified as his replacement.
Sweden international, Isak has asked the Magpies to allow him to explore a move away from St James’ Park, with Liverpool expected to place a deal on the table despite the recent signing of Ekitike.
Various report have claimed Liverpool are considering a huge £150 million ($202.5m) move for the forward, and they are subsequently exploring alternatives.
Report from The Athletic have claimed that Newcastle are interested in signing Sesko in the event that Isak leaves the club.

Sesko is understood to have a gentleman’s agreement with Leipzig that will see him allowed to leave for the right project, but it is unclear how much he would cost; his deal runs until 2029.
Having been linked with Arsenal in the past few season, Sesko will have to play football elsewhere after the Gunners agreed to bring in Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon.
Meanwhile, Sesko will be a great addition to any team he joins. Last season, he scored 21 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions.
Newcastle are yet to clarify their stance on this; it is unclear if they will allow Isak to leave, but if they do, they may then accelerate their pursuit of Sesko.
