Folarin Balogun was born in Brooklyn, New York to Nigerian parents. He moved to England when he was young and began playing football for Hale End Boys. He joined the Arsenal academy at the age of eight and quickly rose through the ranks.
Balogun made his professional debut for Arsenal in December 2019 in a Europa League match against Standard Liège. He scored his first goal for the club in the following match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
