Real Madrid’s veteran midfielder set to leave Santiago Bernabeu for a new adventure
Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric will not continue at the the Spanish club beyond this season, reports have claimed.
Luka Modric has built a reputable name for himself in Real Madrid and is often ranked among the best players in history of the club.
Now 38 years old, Modric has been forced to play limited games this season though he has been brilliant whenever he’s called upon by Carlo Ancelotti.

Modric’s current contract with Real Madrid will expire on June 30 and despite claims the he will be given a new one year, latest reports from journalist Ramon Alvarez, stated that Modric will not be continuing at Real Madrid beyond the current campaign.
The 38-year-old was believed to be set to meet with club president Florentino Perez imminently to discuss the matter of his future.
Though it has not been confirmed if the meeting was held, reports claimed that Modric will be leaving the Merengues once the ongoing campaign is over and his contract expires.
Modric will be leaving Real Madrid as a legend and there are speculations that he will be eyeing a move to the MLS.
Luka Modric joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2021 for an approximate £30 million transfer fee, signing a five-year contract with the Spanish club.
