Thomas Tuchel confirms Konsa injury update
Arsenal defender Ezri Konsa has recovered from his minor injury and is back available for England,
Thomas Tuchel has given a positive update about the fitness of Arsenal defender Ezri Konsa as the Three Lions prepare for Saturdays’ away game in Croatia.
Konsa had been an unused substitute for Tuesday’s 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in the Nations League after a minor injury he felt in the aftermath of last Saturday’s 3-2 defeat to Spain, in which he started.
However, the centre-back who joined Arsenal from Aston Villa for £51million this summer, is expected to be available for Tuchel’s side on Saturday.
Konsa took part in the group training session at the home of Croatian club HNK Rijeka on Friday, before Tuchel was asked about the availability within his squad.

“It seems that Ezri Konsa is back,” Tuchel said.
“He did the full training today and this is of course a lot of hope for tomorrow, because he is a key player for us.
“Nico O’Reilly our left-back left the camp, and on the right side [of centre-back], we have some competition and Marc [Guehi] should be ready to go and very likely to start.”
With William Saliba still out injured, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be glad to have a fully-fit Konsa after the international break.
Arsenal will host Leeds United in the lunchtime kick-off on October 10, as they aim to bounce back from the 3-0 defeat at Brighton last time out.
