Tottenham Hotspur are eager to go toe to toe with Manchester United over the signature of 21-year-old Everton defensive star Jarrad Branthwaite.
Jarrad Branthwaite has been linked to Manchester United in recent weeks after putting up impressive performances for Everton.
However, the Red Devils are set to face a challenge from Tottenham Hotspur who are also interested in the young defender.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in acquiring the services of Jarrad Branthwaite as they look to further bolster their defence ahead of next season.
Branthwaite had an impressive loan spell at PSV Eindhoven last season, and has been able to carry on the momentum. The 21-year-old has broken into the Everton first-team and has managed to establish himself.
Manchester United are seeking to add more experience to their backline and Branthwaite has been identified as a perfect fit.
It’s left to see if Tottenham will be able to convince Branthwaite who has featured in 35 matches in all competitions for the Everton and has racked up over 3,100 minutes.
