Yan Diomande addresses transfer rumours amid Liverpool interest
RB Leipzig youngster Yan Diomande has officially addressed the speculation regarding his future as Liverpool continue their pursuit of the Ivorian winger.
Following an impressive season with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga, Diomande has continue his good form at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, helping Ivory Coast qualify for the knockout stage, the first time in their history.
His form has caught the attention of top teams especially Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking after the Ivory Coast’s 2-0 victory over Curacao at World Cup, Diomande was grilled about where he will be playing his football next season.
Despite the noise surrounding a potential move to the Premier League, the youngster insisted that his mind is currently occupied only by international duties.

The 19-year-old winger was asked if his destination for the next campaign has been decided, he replied: “That, I don’t know. I am not thinking about my future after the World Cup. I am trying to focus all my energy on the World Cup and see what happens after – but I can’t say anything about that.”
Liverpool are reportedly leading the chase for the teenage trickster as they look to fill the massive void left by Mohamed Salah.
The Reds are readying an £86 million (€100m/$114m) package to test Leipzig’s resolve. However, the German side are believed to be holding out for a fee closer to £112m (€130m/$148m).
PSG are also still in the race. The European Champion are monitoring the situation and might involve in a bidding war with Liverpool.
