England Euro 2024 star makes stance on future as Liverpool prepare first bid

Liverpool have reportedly registered their interest in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze this summer, though are set to face competition from other Premier League clubs.
Eze has continue to make a name for himself as one of the best playmakers in the Premier league and it was not surprising he was part of the England squad that featured at the 2024 European Championship.
Having sold Michael Olise to Bayern Munich this summer transfer, Palace now face another huge task to keep their prized asset. A latest report by Football Insider has stated Arne Slot’s side have “registered interest” in the 26-year-old, with Tottenham Hotspur also following suit.

According to the report, Liverpool are among those “readying a more formal move” once the England international returns from his three-week break on the back of the Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.
Eze penned a new contract at Palace back in November, extending his stay at Selhurst Park to 2027, ensuring it will prove harder for Liverpool and other interested parties if trying to negotiate a price with the Eagles.
However, Palace will be willing to agree a deal with any club that offer the best deal.
Palace boss Oliver Glasner, speaking at the end of last season, was fully aware of the challenge attached with keeping hold of Eze and Olise this summer and told reporters in May of the duo: “It’s the job of the club to keep all the players. I know they’ll try everything possible. You never know how your squad will look when the next season starts. They’re amazing players, this is an amazing group.”
