Lionel Messi influence La Liga star to reject four clubs for Inter Miami

Inter Miami are on the verge of bringing in Celta de Vigo star Tadeo Allende with Lionel Messi proving to be a valuable asset in the deal.
Miami are currently strengthening their team with Javier Mascherano set to be provided with the possible best team. 25-year-old Allende is now set for a move to Javier Mascherano’s side this week.
Spanish publication Diario AS hinted that Allende is preparing to jet off to Miami to sign on the dotted line with the ‘Herons,’ aiming to fulfil his dream of playing beside the legendary Argentine icon, while turning down four other teams in order to do so.
Allende joined Celta on a four-and-a-half-year contract in January 2024 but has made just 13 appearances for the club. The talented winger is now set for a new chapter in the MLS.

According to reports, the prospect of playing with Messi is believed to be a key factor in Allende’s pivot towards the States.
Allende shunned clubs like Granada and Real Zaragoza from Spain, Italy’s Seire B side Palermo, and Talleres de Cordoba of Argentina, who were all reportedly keen on snapping up the star.
Inter Miami initially tried to sign Allende on loan but have since doubled down on their interest with negotiations progressing.
Allende in 2023 expressed his admiration for the Messi. He said: “I dream of meeting Messi. I would give anything to be at least in a practice with him or sit down [with him].”
It’s only a matter of time before he fulfills the long-term dream of playing alongside Lionel Messi.
