AC Milan left furious at USMNT over Christian Pulisic latest injury

Christian Pulisic sustained an injury while on international duty with the United States during a friendly against Australia, the wingger is now set to be out for a month.
The USMNT captain was forced off the pitch in the 30th minute after appearing to suffer a hamstring injury. Milan are said to be frustrated that Pulisic was risked in the match, especially considering he had played only 17 minutes as a substitute in the team’s previous friendly against Ecuador.
According to Italian outlet Repubblica, Pulisic could be sidelined for up to four weeks if tests confirm the extent of his injury.
Earlier, USMNT coach Mauricio Pochettino acknowledged that Pulisic had suffered a hamstring problem but admitted he was uncertain about its severity, adding that further examinations would determine the diagnosis.

Milan are reportedly frustrated, believing Pulisic was unnecessarily risked by Mauricio Pochettino against Australia, as he had been showing signs of an ankle issue in recent weeks.
Pulisic has been a key figure in Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan side, contributing six goals and two assists across all competitions. He currently sits atop the Serie A scoring charts alongside Bologna’s Riccardo Orsolini.
Milan are third in the league standings, just two points behind leaders Napoli and second-placed Roma.
Pulisic is the latest addition to Milan’s growing list of injury concerns. Portuguese forward Rafael Leao was recently sent home from the national team after being deemed not match-fit.
The Rossoneri are also without wing-back Alexis Saelemaekers, midfielder Adrien Rabiot and defender Pervis Estupinan, all of whom are currently sidelined through injury.
