AC Milan are set to appoint Paulo Fonseca as their new manager and are prepared to help him build a team capable of competing in the Seria A and Europe.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are willing to strengthen their defense and Brazilian centre-back Igor has been identified as a perfect choice.
Igor has experienced the Seria A having played for played for SPAL and Fiorentina until the €16.15m plus bonuses transfer to Brighton in the summer of 2023.
The Brazilian enjoyed a fruitful 2023/24 season, making 33 competitive appearances for the Seagulls under Roberto De Zerbi.
Milan are likely to spend €20m for the deal with Igor’s contract running until June 2027. He also an option to extend for a further year.
