New report reveals one thing Sir Alex Ferguson is banned from at Man United

Manchester United are taking drastic actions to take the club back to its glory days and this will see Sir Alex Ferguson leave his role as the club ambassador at the end of the season.
Ferguson acted as a global ambassador and club director and was regularly seen at games and retains a seat in the directors’ box at Old Trafford. His role at United has seen the club pay their legendary boss multi-million pound fee since his retirement as manager in 2013.
However, INEOS – headed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe – has axed the 82-year-old from his role as they look to slash costs in order to invest more money in the team.
A new report has now revealed that Ferguson and the Man United board have been asked NOT to enter the dressing room – breaking a tradition that stretches back to the days of Sir Matt Busby.
Ferguson will no longer enter the ‘inner sanctum’ following matches as part of a change in policy.
Per the report, Man United deny that they have directly banned Ferguson from the changing room but say there is now a ‘collective understanding’ over who goes inside.
Ferguson and fellow board members David Gill and Mike Edelson were always welcome to the dressing room.
United have failed to rediscover their best form since Ferguson left in 2013. Ferguson won 38 trophies in 26 years at Man UnitedUnited and is undoubtedly one of the greatest managers in football.
However, his departure from the club ambassadorial role will put an end to a long lasting relationship.
Since INEOS took charge of football operations at Man United, over 250 staff members have been made redundant – with Ferguson being the biggest casualty by some distance.
