Arsenal Make 140-Year History With Win Over Inter Milan
Arsenal have proved unstoppable this season with Mikel Arteta’s side recording seven Champions League victories in a row for the first time in their history.
The Gunners swept aside Serie A leaders Inter Milan at the San Siro thanks to a first-half double from Gabriel Jesus and another from Viktor Gyokeres six minutes from time.
It was an emphatic victory for Arsenal who had already chalked up a 100 per cent start to the league phase with six wins from six matches prior to kick off.
An historical night, Tuesday’s victory made it seven on the spin in UEFA competition for the first time since Arsenal was founded in 1886.

Only Manchester City having enjoyed a longer winning run with ten successive wins.
It now means Arsenal are now guaranteed a top-two finish in the League phase and direct entrance to the last-16 stage in March.
Arsenal’s good form in Europe will also see them play all knockout round second-legs at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners can confirm top spot next week with victory over Kairat Almaty of Kazakhstan.
Arsenal are seven points clear at the top of the Premier League and hold a first-leg advantage over Chelsea in their Carabao Cup semi-final match.
The Gunners have also progressed to the FA Cup fourth round as they hope to win all available silverware.
