Champions League: Arsenal suffers huge blow as Bayern Munich announce squad

Bayern Munich have been handed a huge boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter final first-leg clash with Arsenal.

Currently topping Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League, Arsenal will be facing Bayern Munich in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash this week.

With Arsenal currently in top form, Mikel Arteta’s side are favourite going into the game. Bayern Munich suffered a shocking 3-2 defeat to Heidenheim on Saturday and are hoping to bounce back against Arsenal.

Thomas Tuchel who missed the likes of Manuel Neuer, Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane during the defeat on Saturday will now have his full squad available for the trip to Arsenal.

Bayern Munich and Arsenal will be meeting for  first time since 2010/11. Mikel Arteta will be eager to get one pass a Germany side capable of beating any team in Europe.

The clash also sees ex-Tottenham striker and England captain Harry Kane return to face a familiar opposition while Serge Gnabry is set for an Emirates reunion with Mikel Arteta.
