Atletico Madrid to raid Premier League outfit for 21-year-old Brazilian star

Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen on bringing Nottingham Forest defender Murillo to Spain as Diego Simeone plans to strengthen his defensive unit.
Despite Nottingham Forest’s struggle last season, Murillo proved himself with impressive performances week in, week out.
The 21-year-old Brazilian established himself as an important team player for the Premier League club and he helped them survive the drop last season.
Murillo’s performances have attracted the attention of the La Liga outfit.

According to Fichajes, Atletico Madrid are interested in the Brazilian and it’s left to be seen if they can secure an agreement with Nottingham Forest in the coming weeks.
Murillo has a contract with the English club until 2028 and he won’t be available at a cheap price. However, his age proves he be a quality long-term investment for Atletico Madrid.
It will be interesting to see if Atletico Madrid are willing to pay up for him.
Diego Simeone’s side failed to win a trophy last season and are expected to be without Mario Hermoso next season.
Murillo could be Mario Hermoso’s replacement but the decision lies with Atletico Madrid and Diego Simeone.
