Bayern Munich close in on €60m deal despite Premier League clubs interest
Bayern Munich are set to beat several Premier League clubs in the race to sign PSV Eindhoven attacker Ismael Saibari this summer.
The German champion enjoyed a brilliant 2025/26 season under Vincent Kompany. Bayern were unstoppable in their Bundesliga campaign and were also victorious in their domestic cup tournament.
However, with Bayern still gunning for their first Champions League win since 2020, the club are eager to bring in new talent this summer.
Signing a new left-sided attacker has been high on Bayern’s agenda and they recently missed out on a big-money deal for Anthony Gordon, who has joined Barcelona for around £69m.

The Bundesliga giant have now turn their attention towards Morocco international Saibari, who has been on top of his game over the last couple of seasons with Eredivisie champions PSV.
Saibari, a versatile attacker who can play centrally and out wide, finished the 2025-26 season as PSV’s joint-top scorer with 19 goals in 37 games across all competitions, recording 15 goals and eight assists in 27 Eredivisie matches.
According to TEAMtalk, Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton and Leeds United have all closely monitored him over the past 12 months.
However, Saibari has made it clear that he wants to join Bayern, who are progressing in discussions with PSV.
Both teams might settle for a transfer fee in the region of €60m (£52m).
Bayern Munich in the last few transfer windows have done great business, bringing in the likes of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace and Luis Diaz from Liverpool.
