No Way! Chelsea not interested in Real Madrid forward

Chelsea are not expected to make a move for Real Madrid forward Endrick in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The Brazilian forward has struggled for minutes at the Bernabeu, featuring just once under Xabi Alonso. He is expected to be allowed out on loan in January to gain regular game time, with French Ligue 1 side Lyon reportedly leading the chase.

Chelsea who are currently blessed with talented forwards have also been linked with the young Brazilian forward.

However, new report claim the London club are not pursuing the 19-year-old and talk of a Stamford Bridge move is viewed as little more than speculation.

Endrick emerged from Palmeiras’ academy with a remarkable reputation, scoring an extraordinary 165 goals in 169 youth appearances – numbers that quickly put him on the radar of Europe’s elite clubs.

Real Madrid ultimately won the race for his signature in 2022, securing the highly rated striker in a deal worth up to a reported £53million.

Chelsea were among the clubs who pushed hardest, eager to land a talent who had already drawn comparisons to Brazilian icons Ronaldo, Romario and even Pele.

Endrick officially joined Real Madrid after turning 18 in 2024 and while he was able to show his potentials in the early days, the arrival of Kylian Mbappe affected his game time.

As a result, the teenager was often shunted into an unnatural wide role. He finished the 2024/25 season with seven goals in 37 appearances – just one of them in La Liga.

Endrick is now seeking for a new club as he hopes to get enough game time at club level to secure a place in Brazil’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
