Cristiano Ronaldo has continued to make headlines for his exploits with the Portuguese national team and his current club Al Nassr.
However, the former Manchester United forward has also been criticized on some occasions for his performance. Notably, former Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano stated that Ronaldo shouldn’t be mentioned in the same league as the likes of Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero among others.
According to him, these players knew how to bring their teammates into play, something that Cristiano Ronaldo lacked.

Though Ronaldo has turned deaf ears to this statement, fans have reacted on social media as many share their opinion on the subject matter.
Ronaldo’s sister Elma has now reacted to the claim made by Cassano. According to her, no one knows Cassano and in reality, he was not a player but a ball boy.
I don’t know this poor man and I don’t even care to know him. But I just want to tell him one thing: if Ronaldo doesn’t know how to play and he scored 900 goals, imagine if he knew.
They say he [Cassano] was a football player, but I think they’re wrong. In reality, he was a ball boy.
Ronaldo has continued his good form with Al Nassr, banging in goals every week as he hopes to reach 1000 official goals before retiring.
