Arsenal star Declan Rice has been popular for his work rate on the pitch this season and he seems to forget how to stop running off the pitch.

Rice has been banned from driving after he was caught speeding twice on the same road in the space of a week. The England midfielder has also been issued with a fine after he was spotted going over the speed limit in his £40,000 Jaguar Land Rover at the start of last year.

According to the Daily Mail, Rice was caught speeding near his reported £3 million ($4m) mansion in Surrey in 2024.

The report states that the 26-year-old was clocked doing 37mph in a 30mph zone on the A217 on January 3 last year. And just five days later, on January 8, he was then caught doing 49mph in a 40mph zone on the same road.

The Arsenal midfielder did not appear at Crawley Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

However, he been banned from driving for six months, which came after a totting up process as the former West Ham United ace already had six points on his licence, bringing the total up to 15 points.

The Three Lions man has also been hit with a £2,185 fine, which comprises of a £1,500 financial penalty, a £600 surcharge and £85 court costs.

Off the pitch issues has not affect Rice performance for Arsenal as he remains an important figure in Mikel Arteta’s setup.

He will be eager to continue his good form when Arsenal open up their FA Cup campaign with a trip to Championship side Portsmouth on Sunday.
