Huge Blow! Arsenal learn extent of Eberechi Eze injury
Arsenal will be without the service of Eberechi Eze for some crucial games as the England international is set for a significant spell on the sidelines.
Eze sustained a calf issue in the Champions League win against Bayer Leverkusen. The injury saw him miss Arsenal’s 2-0 Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City.
He has also been forced to withdraw from international duty.
While fans are hopeful he will be back after the international break, latest report have claim otherwise. According to the BBC, Eze faces between four to six weeks on the sidelines.
Eze’s injury will serve as a huge setback for Mikel Arteta who now awaits definitive scan results.

Arsenal are still pushing for the Premier League title, Champions League and FA Cup glory. Mikel Arteta will now be banking on available players especially captain Martin Odegaard who is set to return following a one-month knee injury layoff.
Eze had amassed 43 appearances across all competitions this season, including two for Crystal Palace before his transfer in late-August.
He has scored nine goals and provided six assists for Arsenal, making him a cornerstone of the attack. He has been particularly influential in the Premier League, featuring 26 times while providing six goals and two assists.
In Europe, he has one goal and two assists in nine Champions League outings this season.
