Huge Deal! Lamine Yamal Reveals World Cup 2026 Deal With Neymar
Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal has opened up on a deal he made with Neymar regarding this summer’s World Cup which is due to be held in North America, Mexico and Canada.
While Yamal is expected to lead the Spanish national team, Neymar’s participation at the event is still under review. The former PSG, Barca star has failed to convince Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti he’s still got what it takes to play at the highest level.
Ancelotti has insisted that players playing at the highest level on a consistent basis will be considered.
Neymar recently made a return to training after knee surgery and has to prove himself.
Despite the challenge surrounding his chances of featuring at the event, Yamal has revealed the deal he has with the Brazilian superstar.
Speaking after Barcelona’s win over FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League, Yamal revealed he’s been speaking to Neymar.

According to the Spanish youngster, they had come to an agreement about the World Cup.
“I made a deal with Neymar: if Spain and Brazil face each other in the World Cup final, we’ll go on vacation together,” he said. Yamal would also pull out a special celebration if he scores.
Yamal is expected to be a key player for Spain at the World Cup, and Luis de la Fuente’s side will head into the tournament as one of the favorites.
Meanwhile, time will tell if Neymar will be able to make the Brazilian national team final list for the biggest football event.
Neymar’s last appearance for the Brazil national team came in a defeat to Uruguay in October 2023.
Speaking about his chances of making the squad in December, 2025, Ancelotti told Esporte Record,
“He has to be 100%.”
“There are many players who are very good, I need to choose players that are 100%. It’s not just Neymar, it could be [Real Madrid forward] Vinícius. If Vinícius is at 90%, I’ll call up another player who is at 100%, because it’s a team that has a very high level of competence, especially up front. Up front, we have really many good players.”
