Liverpool identifies Van Dijk’s replacement, to compete with Madrid, PSG
Liverpool are reportedly interested in bringing in Lille star Leny Yoro who has been identified as the perfect replacement for Virgil van Dijk.
Virgil van Dijk currently has just a year left in his contract and there are speculations linking the 32-year-old out of Anfield. The Liverpool captain has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Saudi Pro League clubs.
Liverpool are now prepared to make a move for his replacement but face a stiff competition from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Le Parisien, Liverpool will compete with European giants like Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to secure the signature of the talented 18-year-old central defender.

In addition, the Premier League side will also face an uphill task to bring in the youngster as Lille are set to demand a huge transfer fee in the region of €90m-€100m (£77m-£85m).
Ranked among the best youngsters in world football, Leny Yoro has caught the eye with his impressive performances.
In just his third season as a senior professional, Yoro has appeared in 44 games across all competitions for his club who finished fourth in the Ligue 1 in the 2023-24 campaign and secured a Champions League qualifying slot.
Liverpool are set to begin the upcoming season with Arne Slot in charge and it’s left to see if he’ll ask the club to go all the way to secure the signature of Leny Yoro.
