Marc Guehi Farewell Video Leaked After Blocked Liverpool Move

Marc Guehi farewell video has been leaked just hours after the England International’s dream move to Liverpool was blocked by Crystal Palace.
Guehi has agreed to join Liverpool on a £35m deal and has completed his medical before Crystal Palace stopped the deal. The London club pulled the plug on the deal after failing to secure their captain’s replacement.
As reported by BBC Sport, Palace reportedly refused to sanction the transfer due to their failure to secure a replacement after target Igor Julio decided to join West Ham United.

This move also came after Palace head coach Oliver Glasner stressed that “we need to keep Marc to play a successful season” during a press conference on Sunday.
Glasner added: “I know if we don’t sell Marc, he will accept it. He loves the club and team, he feels the appreciation, and we feel the same from his side. That’s why I have to say we need to keep him.”
Just hours after it’s been confirmed Guehi will continue at Palace, a farewell video put together by Palace has leaked on social media – although this is unverified.
The supposed farewell video – see below – opened with several clips from Palace’s FA Cup final victory against Manchester City back in May. It then continued to show an array of highlights, including goals, tackles and interviews from his time at the club.
With his contract running until June 2026, Guehi will remain in south London until January at least.
The England centre-back will return to Premier League action on September 13 when Glasner’s side take on Sunderland at Selhurst Park.
Before then, he will likely feature in England’s World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.
