Out! Ruben Amorim confirms Matheus Cunha injury update
Manchester United playmaker Matheus Cunha will not be available for selection as the Red Devils take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
United will travel to Selhurst Park on Sunday hoping to secure a positive result after their 1-0 defeat to Everton last time out.
Ruben Amorim will now prepare his side without the service of Cunha who has made a positive start to life at United despite scoring just once in 11 appearances in all competitions.
The Brazilian forward continued absence comes at a time when United are short of options in attack, with Benjamin Sesko still out with a knee injury. Meanwhile, Harry Maguire remains out with a hamstring injury suffered before the international break.

“Sesko is going to take a little bit more time,” Amorim said during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“It will take a little bit longer and we are taking care of him.
“Harry, the same. I expect to have Matheus in the next one [West Ham on Thursday], not this one.”
United dropped to 10th in the Premier League after losing their five-game unbeaten run to 10-man Everton on Monday.
Amorim bemoaned his side’s inability to control the game despite having a man advantage and admitted it had been a tough week picking his players up after they had begun to build some much-needed momentum.
“It is the same thing we had to win every game all the time last year and we took criticism because we are not winning. There is no excuses. If I look at the game, we should have more points. We lost control. We should have more points, and that is disappointing,” Amorim continued.
“It was a tough week, as it should be. But the process needs to continue and we need to go for the next game.”
