Ruben Amorim’s Man Utd Outcast Likened To Ronaldo, Neymar
Former Manchester United winger Antony has been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar as he continues to shine at Real Betis.
Antony was axed by Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim with the Brazilian forward sent on loan to Betis in January before making a permanent move in the summer.
The Brazilian was part of the club’s infamous bomb squad before he secured a permanent return to Betis on deadline day.
Antony has put United behind him and has continued his impressive performances for the Betis this season.
His performance have now seen his teammates liken him to a pair of Champions League winners.

Defender Marc Bartra admits it is Antony’s mentality which has been key to his change in fortunes in LaLiga.
Speaking to Mundobetis, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, Bartra explained: “It’s a style of football that suits him very well, that’s why we’re seeing the real Antony again, even an improved Antony.
“The first day I spoke with him, I already saw his mentality, with that quality and that Brazilian talent.
“I always say he’s a mix between Neymar and Cristiano. He has the same mentality as Cristiano, always striving for more and being very focused on the game.”
Antony has made 27 appearances alongside Bartra for Betis, whilst the Spaniard is a former teammate of Neymar’s at Barcelona.
Overall, Antony has now scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in 37 matches for Betis. Those include six goals in 11 appearances since making his move permanent in September.
It is a significant improvement on his United career, having managed just 12 goals and five assists in 96 matches during his three years in England.
