Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha has shut down rumours of a summer move to Real Madrid, claiming it would be “silly” to move.
Vitinha has developed into one of the best midfielders in world football, leading PSG to the summit of football. The Portuguese international has won three Ligue 1 titles and a Champions League trophy with the French side.
He has also contributed 25 goals and 24 assists from 190 appearances in all competitions.
Real Madrid are monitoring his situation and would love to have him on board in the summer.

He said: “It would be silly to leave. I don’t think it’s the best thing for me. I feel very good here at PSG.
“I feel that people appreciate me a lot and I have earned that affection.
“I love being here; my family does too. The group is fantastic and the coach is incredible.”
Real Madrid are looking at strengthening their squad with Barcelona now looking like the team to beat in the Spanish La Liga.
Xabi Alonso has been sacked as the club manager this season and, interim manager Alvaro Arbeloa has not proved he’s the right man for the job.
With a huge decision set to be made in terms of who manages the club next season, Vitinha declaring he wants to stay at PSG would serve as a huge blow to Madrid faithfuls.
Madrid are known to be ranked among the biggest football clubs in the world, and it’s left to be seen of Vitinha will eventually consider moving down to the Spanish capital.
