REVEALED: Why Trossard will not be banned from Premier League action despite his red card

Leandro Trossard received a red card during Arsenal 2-2 draw against Manchester City on Sunday evening but will be available for the Gunners in their next Premier League match.
Arsenal were forced to play the second half of their tie against Manchester City with ten men after Trossard was dismissed with a second yellow card eight minutes into first-half stoppage time.
The Belgium international fouled Bernardo Silva and hoofed the ball away. His action led to him being walked out of the pitch as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta lament on the sideline.
Though Mikel Arteta was furious after the final whistle, the Spanish tactician will be able to call on Trossard during Arsenal’s next Premier League clash against Leicester City at the Emirates on September 28.
That’s because Trossard’s ban, picked up via two bookings, only applies for one fixture in all competitions – and Arsenal’s next game is in the Carabao Cup.
Arsenal host League One outfit Bolton on Wednesday evening in the third round of the Carabao Cup. Trossard will sit out of the match and will be fresh to face last season Championship winner.
Leicester City are having a great time back in the Premier League and will be eager to shock Arsenal in front of their home fans.
