Frank Lampard makes final decision on Coventry City future
Frank Lampard has reportedly made a final decision on his future at Coventry City as he continues to be linked with other Premier League clubs.
Lampard guided Coventry side to promotion in style last season, with the Sky Blues plundering a remarkable 97 goals on their way to the Championship title.
The Chelsea legend’s impressive display for his swashbuckling side caught the attention of Premier League clubs and it’s not surprising he’s been linked to available jobs.
However, Lampard is poised to commit his future to Coventry, with negotiations over a new contract now at an advanced stage.
According to The Telegraph, Lampard is extremely close to signing a new deal.

Lampard has just one year remaining on his current deal. However, the former England midfielder is said to be settled at the club and has been working on preparations for the new season with Coventry’s owner, Doug King.
While Coventry fans will celebrate the news, Fulham will continue their hunt for a new coach as they’ve been credited with an interest in Lampard’s services.
Fulham are seeking a replacement for Marco Silva who left the club after the expiration of his contract. The Portuguese manager has joined Benfica as Jose Mourinho’s replacement.
