How much will Elliot Anderson earn at Man City? Salary breakdown

How much will Elliot Anderson earn at Man City? The England international is on the verge of becoming a City player after weeks of intense speculation.

Man City have agreed a staggering British record transfer fee with Nottingham Forest as they hope to get the deal sorted as soon as possible. The Citizens beat off competition from Manchester United who were not willing to meet Forest valuation.

Report claim Anderson has been granted permission to undergo a medical in New York on Friday while he remains with the England squad.

Anderson is expected to put pen to paper on a lucrative five-year contract with Man City, but how much will he earn at the club.

According to The Athletic, the England international will earn a salary in the region of £300,000 per week if all performance-related bonuses are met during his stay in Manchester.

The agreement also includes a club option to extend the deal by a further 12 months, effectively tying him to the champions until 2032.

Anderson will become one of the highest earners at Man City as the club prepares for life after Pep Guardiola.

City’s decision to pay a fixed fee of £116 million ($153m) with no additional add-ons will see Anderson become the most expensive British player in football history.

He takes the accolade away from Jack Grealish whom Man City paid Aston Villa £100 million to sign in 2021.

Anderson joined Forest from Newcastle for just £35m in 2023, and his transfer fee to Man City boost a huge profit for the East Midlands club.
