Man Utd receive huge boost as two senior stars return to training ahead of Arsenal clash

Manchester United have received a double injury boost as Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez are back in training ahead of their Premier League clash against Arsenal.

Erik ten Hag’s United team will be facing Arsenal on Sunday in what is a must win match for both teams.

Arsenal need a win to put more pressure on Manchester City while United need a win to boost their chances of European football next season.

Ahead of the Old Trafford clash, Erik ten Hag’s men could be bolstered by the return of forward Rashford and defender Martinez – who have both been pictured in training.

Martinez has failed to stay fit this season with the Argentina international missing much of the campaign with foot, knee, and calf injuries.

On the other hand, Rashford has been out with a knock since the FA Cup win over Coventry City last month.

However, the 26-year-old who has been criticised all season is back on the green turf and is likely to be available for selection on Sunday.

With the Red Devils having a litany of injury issues in 2023/24, having these two back fit will be a positive for United and Erik ten Hag.
