Frank Lampard Tipped To Lead Premier League Side Next Season
Former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has been tipped as the favourite to replace Oliver Glasner as Crystal Palace manager.
Oliver Glasner has announced he will leave Crystal Palace when his contract ends at the end of the season. His decision came just hours after the club agreed a fee with Manchester City over the sale of club captain Marc Guehi.
With Palace expected to take a decision on their new manager during the summer, talkSPORT reports Lampard has a huge advantage.
According to reports, Palace owner Steve Parish was a big admirer of Lampard even before he rocketed Coventry to the top of the Championship – which has led to the coach being linked with various Premier League jobs.

Lampard is expected to feature prominently on the Eagles’ list of options to take over at Selhurst Park but it’s unclear if the Chelsea legend will be eager to swap Coventry for Palace.
Aside Lampard, Palace are also interested in Getafe’s Jose Bordalas and his La Liga counterpart, Rayo Vallecano boss Inigo Perez.
Parish and sporting director Matt Hobbs have been working on a succession plan for Glasner since the Austrian told them he was not renewing his contract in October.
