Harry Kane reveals Bellingham’s mind game tactics before Champions League penalty

England international, Harry Kane has revealed what Jude Bellingham told him before he played the crucial penalty that gave Bayern Munich the lead against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie with Kane scoring from the spot.

However, before Kane stepped up from the spot, Jude Bellingham was seen getting in his ear with some mind games.

Despite the distraction, Kane scored, sending Andriy Lunin the wrong way.

With some fans criticising the move from Bellingham, Kane after the match revealed what his international teammate told him.

Speaking after the game, Kane revealed: “In the moment, I didn’t know what he said but I spoke to him after and he said: ‘I know you’re going to go left of the keeper’.

“But it was nice for me because I saw the keeper go a little bit early and I put it away. Actually on the pitch, I didn’t know what he said. I knew he was there but I didn’t know what he said. But I went left anyway.”

Despite Kane’s second goal giving Bayern the lead over Real Madrid, a second mistake from defender Kim Min-jae, who was at fault for Vinicius’ first goal, handed Madrid a penalty late on which the Brazilian converted.

Bayern Munich will be seeking a redemption when they visit Santiago Bernabeu for the second leg next week seeking third away success at the home of the Spanish giants.
