Man Utd flop reportedly close to reuniting with Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United winger Antony is reportedly on his way out of the Premier League giant as Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr are considering placing a bid for him this summer.
Antony joined Manchester United from Ajax in 2022 for a fee of £86m. He signed a contract until 2027, with the option of an additional year but has failed to convince fans with his performance.
However, the Brazilian has been offered a chance to play alongside former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.
According to Football Insider, Al-Nassr are considering a bid for Antony, the Brazilian winger whose abject failure at Old Trafford has made him a figure of fun for rival fans. Cristiano Ronaldo’s club have made Antony a “top target” after failing to agree terms with Barcelona’s Raphinha.

The report states that United would, rather unsurprisingly, make a loss on their initial £82m outlay, which as it stands will go down as one of the worst wastes of money in top flight history – but they are “willing to sell”, and quite probably actively enthusiastic about the idea, regardless.
The report also states that Man United are willing to let Antony leave on loan if his reported £100,000-a-week wages are covered.
Despite scoring on his debut against Arsenal, Antony has largely failed to impress at Man United since his switch from Ajax. He’s scored just 11 goals in 82 matches across all competitions.
